Following the fantastic response from all of you who took the trouble to express your views, Mid Sussex planning department have today refused this application.
Whilst this may not be the end of the matter, it is an important milestone. As always, the developer has the right to appeal or may submit a new application. However, it is good to note that the reasons quoted for refusal are very strong indeed and you can rest assured that we will be ready to launch another campaign if any such attempts are made.
