MSDC have now publicised the commencement to their consultation on the Horsted Keynes Neighbourhood Plan.

The consultation will run until 1 February 2018 and relates to the following basic conditions:
- Compliance with National Planning Policy
- How the plan contributes to sustainable development
- Conformity with District Planning Policy
- Compliance with EU obligations
Following this consultation the plan will be reviewed by a qualified independent Examiner, who will recommend whether the plan should proceed to referendum or if any modifications are required to meet the basic conditions.
